Shanghai Street Cleaner

Ok back to china photos for now. I took this one early on in Shanghai. A street cleaner on Nanjing Lu taking a break. Nanjing Lu is THE tourist street of shanghai. So i guess they must employ a gazillion people to keep it clean. Cuz i think i saw at least that many.

The photo seems very loud and busy with so many colors. But i've been wanting to post it for a long time so here it is. And i also hate how portrait shots suck on a computer screen cuz you have to scroll to see the whole image, or make the image so small that it's no fun to look at. bah.

I'm getting tired of trying to think up exciting titles for my photos.

Toxic Avenger

This will probably my last post from the long weekend. Unless I get out this weekend to do some more shooting, it's back to CHINA PHOTOS.

This is China town in victoria. Hmmm I'm letting the China theme slip in again... Ok anyways, so this isnt REALLY chinatown. I don't want to give the impression that china town is a toxic dump. But i swear the water looked THAT green. Anyways, there's some new condo developments around there and this is just one of the sites. Used to be a parking lot.

Marie

Finally got a chance to go out and shoot some pics since coming back to Canada. So I guess we'll take a break from the China photos for a bit. This photo was taken in Victoria over the long weekend. This is my girlfriend Marie. :)

I have always found autumn to be a melancholy and depressing time of year. But through the viewfinder, it seems totally different.

Oh yeah, this was a single exposure. No photoshop layering or anything. I really like this shot and how the colors contrast with yesterday's photo.

Face

Sorry I haven't had a chance to post over the long weekend. I need to go to bed now so I don't have time to process any new pics. But here's one from Shanghai again that I liked. The photo was taken at the Face lounge. The girl in the background is a new shanghai friend. She was our "tour guide" of the shanghai nightlife. I hope she doesn't mind me posting the pic...
