The Past

Ok back to Hong Kong! Maybe I should've posted the photos from China/HK that i wanted to post in chronological order... oh well too late for that.

I think this was an old police station. The building is located in the Central district on Hong Kong Island. I just liked the look of the building. Hong Kong has it's own personality to me. It neither feels like China nor does it feel like a former British colony. But this building is obviously very British. I guess for me, this building provides a strong glimpse into the past. It's easy to get swept away by the busy metropolitan characteristics of the city, so this building was a nice reminder.

Maybe there are lots of buildings like this in Hong Kong, but I didn't see too many.
